WHO IS
Homegrowngeometry
Anthony J. Bartoletti, known as @homegrowngeometry on Instagram, discovered his passion for drawing at a young age, inspired by the cartoons and comics of his childhood. After a hiatus during college, he returned to art while working alongside his grandfather at an architectural firm.
His fascination with geometric patterns deepened after stumbling upon a book on Metatron's Cube and the Flower of Life, sparking a creative exploration that integrated these motifs into his artwork.
In 2020, Anthony made a pivotal decision to focus on his art more seriously. Under the mentorship of artist Rafael Araujo, he immersed himself in his work drawing 10 hours a day for 18 months!
Today, Anthony specializes in large-scale geometrical works created entirely by hand with ink, utilizing his grandfather's traditional drafting tools. For Anthony, creating art is a meditative process that has guided him through life's challenges.
His work has been featured prominently, including in the book Bayt Al Fann: Islamic Pattern Contemporary Perspectives. Anthony's future plans include expanding into large-scale murals, continuing to explore the creative possibilities of geometric art.
